STAGEDOOR PHOTOGRAPHY was started in 2012 by David Brennan, with the aim of helping amateur theatre in the North East of England. With over 30 years of experience in amateur theatre, both on and off stage, I was acutely aware of the need for groups to publicise themselves better but also keep advertising costs down, as it's not unusual for the groups to lose money on a performance and then having to spend the rest of year fundraising. That was when I decided to offer my photographic services for free.
Well, free to groups that are affiliated to NODA and are within 25 miles of Newcastle upon Tyne. Who are NODA? The National Operatic and Dramatic Association (that's NODA's full title) have been offering professional support to amateur theatre since 1899 and as I've been a member for 30 years, I'm now trying to give a bit back. If you want to know more about them click their logo on the left.
To those groups that fall into this category then you can read about what STAGEDOOR PHOTOGRAPHY can offer your group on the SERVICES page.
If your group isn't in NODA or falls outside the 25 mile range then all is not lost. Just get in touch via the CONTACT page and we'll see if we can quote you a price within your budget.
